Mistakes
No one likes being reminded of their mistakes.
Emotions are powerful
so don’t mess with them.
People Can Surprise You
I just opened my inbox for the first time in a couple days and found an email from you. I was so surprised to see it, I just clicked it to see if it was real.
I read it in its entirety, half scared of being hurt but half smiling. I had nothing to be scared about, I’m glad to hear you’re doing well and that you cared to update me on your life. It reminded me of what a really good guy...

LA Skyline
I took the 5 instead of my usual route for my drive back to LA. I really didn’t want to leave home, especially during the holidays. I figured I’d take the 5 just to see the skyline. Those lights always inspire me.
Finally home for the holidays
Came home early today to surprise my Mom before she went to work. My work grind is making me realize the importance of family and the sacrifices my parents make.

The real world is only about 200 days away. Gearing up for interviews, doing research; I’m just trying to sort out my passions.

I’m feelin’ hella blessed to have such amazing friends. Thanks to everyone who drove all the way out to Yorba Linda to celebrate my birthday with me. I was partied out from Brew Co/Vegas but I just wanted to get folks together before school started and it was totally worth it. Seeing everyone at my house really surprised me and made me feel loved.
YEEEE WE GOT TURNT.
Grateful
for the people and blessings in my life.

Art Activism
After a stressful week of planning and meetings, its so easy to be discouraged or think about peacing out. Thinking about next is kinda crazy, but whenever things get crazy listening to Blue Scholars and Bambu or watching documentaries like Eric Tandoc’s Sounds of a New Hope really keep me grounded and inspired to continue the work that I do. Hearing about the work you do in the community in...
